    The Mermaid House is a cottage built on-top of ceder trees 6 feet above the beach/ocean and roughly 30 feet inside of the oceans sea shore. The house "Grand Fathers" the wetland laws preventing development 150 feet from the shoreline by nearly 100 years. Today it is the venue of choice for many seeking elegant modern luxuries "At the beach". Many of our guests are here for vacation, but many are professionals utilizing our unique spaces for photo and videography amongst other industries. 

The Details: This house is built .02 miles from all local bars and fun window shopping any tourist could dream of. It is also less than a mile away from the Cape Cod Canal and the documented BEST striped bass fishing in the world. The resort has an 8 person hot tub that is maintained by on-resort staff almost daily. All within view of our private beach and the areas only 12 month boat ramp that provides not only an amazing view but direct access to one of Bostons largest shell fish fisheries. Cant get any fresher than off one of these boats.The resort is also home to "The Givers Gains" Yacht of which guests can charter trips aboard. In the winter the village provides the luxury of scheduled spa days at "Tarra Dean Studio". Clever spouses have been able to create amazing get-aways utilizing such.

The Bottom Line:  This house NEVER disappoints when it comes to a GOOD TIME. With so much luxury and amazing views out the 6 foot tall by 30 foot wide wall of glass one would assume it to be a good place to relax or enjoy a romantic get-away.

The house can sleep 8 people comfortable.

The house is designed for entertaining. EVERY room and space in the mermaid house has surround sound that is all tethered into one smart system controllable by the provided venue iPad OR the "SONOS" app on your own phone. This feature paired w/ the  FOUR 60"+ TVs this small cottage has provides a professional "club" atmosphere.

WIFI is the FASTEST available and we have hotel grade equipment

1 bathroom w/ shower tub combo with ENDLESS HOT WATER (YES we provide towels, Body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and other bathroom essentials. 

2.5 bedrooms + Queen setting for couch 

Master Bedroom has a King bed

Guest bedroom lower floor has a queen and the upper sleeper loft has two queen beds.

The kitchen: Includes a large freezer/fridge combo w/ a dish washer and plenty of counter space. Cabinets are left as empty as possible to allow space for guest food. We DO have everything you need though. Full Knife set,pots/pans, a lobster pot, crock pot, rice cookers and other goodies such as cribs or pack and plays are available per request.

The Dining room: Boasts an amazing bench style teak table that makes you feel like you're on a ship. From the table enjoy great views to the ocean and the wild habitat that is the sea shore as well as a great view into the living room theater that has an incredible "Onkeyo" / "origin acoustics" in wall theater sound system. Movies on the beach!!

The Mermaid House has a private deck that serves as the perfect head quarters for your family and friends while they are exploring the village. with a bar/outdoor kitchen w/ a hot water sink, hot top, and mini fridge you'll be able to grille outside or cook inside. The water side of the deck has an outdoor living room featuring an outdoor sectional and bean bags around a propane fire pit w/ a 60" TV  with a 5 channel OUTDOOR surround sound system. This outdoor space is AMAZING to entertain in. Please keep in mind the sound ordinance is 11PM and we STRICTLY enforce outdoor sound at the resort.

 You will have parking for up to 2 cars in your drive way and in-front of your drive way. Other cars will need to park at the free lot at hynes parking lot which is .02 miles away.

Aside from the private space that comes with the accommodation at The Mermaid House, Guests share access to the "Resort Experiences"/Spaces ready for our guests to explore and enjoy. The outdoor non private spaces are Leased and controlled by "#PlayHere" a local tour guide experience concierge service. Inclusive with accommodations to the mermaid house guests will enjoy the inclusive vehicles, toys, boats, kayaks, and activities #PlayHere hosts here at the resort.
The "#PlayHere Menu" changes from season to season but the basics are as follows:

2 Yamaha E-Bikes (20MPH Speed) , 2 misc regular bikes , 1 Authentic Disney Quad Bike, 6 Kayaks, 2 pedal boats, 2 row boats, Giant Beer pong, Corn hole, Saucer toss, Horse shoes are things that #PlayHere has maintained nearly 12 months a year. Seasonal activities range from Jetski adventures to Private trips aboard the resort yacht to Marthas Vinyard or other Cape islands and destinations. (Dealing w/ #PlayHere Directly is recommended)
                                     
The Resort has beautiful gardens and a green grass area that is great to enjoy a walk through down onto the beach or through our salt marsh that is host to many species of birds, fish, and nautical life. We suggest every guest take a kayak trip through muddy cove and to wickets island to explore for ghosts and amazing wild life!

CHECK IN: Is 3PM and we DON'T allow early check in as we need the time for our "Productions crew" to set up your venue.    

CHECK OUT: check out is 9AM SHARP. we do not do late check outs as we run at nearly 0% vacancy so we need the time for our "Production crew" to work their magic in the venue, not only sanitizing the venue but re-prepping every touch that made your vacation so special. We ask that you wash all your dishes and put them where you found them and have all the used bed linens in a pile @ the bottom of the stairs. Trash can be brought out to the resorts trash barrels located in-front of the flamingo house. (Refer to map on listing)
