The Onset Beach Compound is a conglomerate of 3 stilt cottages built on top of the ocean &  beach, a 30’ Yacht, dozens of boats, games, and toys, surrounded by one of the world's most famous fisheries, and located in the heart of Historic Onset Village: The Gateway to Cape Cod. 

The resorts top amenity is the existence of "#PlayHere- Exclusive Experience Specialists" "#PlayHere" controls the common grounds of our resort. 

 The resort employs its own "Fun Specialist" that's entire career is designing, Installing, and maintaining what #PlayHere calls a "Verb Arena" (A place of which people partake in activities of competition and comradery). "#PlayHeres" chief Designer Kenneth Keegan believes “fun” and “good memories" are a byproduct of a great spatial design. With respect to this idea  Kenneth and his team are able to provide venues like "The Onset Beach Compound Resort" with inclusive amenities and excursions NO Airbnb and few other resorts can compete with.

"#PlayHere" provides each venue with a trip-advisor, Known as "cape Codders". Everyone on cape cod is a " Cape Codder" but you will be provided your own! At check in you will receive direct access to your cape codder via Text message. You will see the #PlayHere staff on the resort as they tend to the "Verb Arena" daily. #PlayHere" hosts live band events, sand castle tournaments, kite flying classes, and other free activities at the resort "#StayHere" that guests enjoy inclusive. #PlayHere also has a "supplement menu" ranging from in-home massage therapist to private boat charters or even boat rides to Martha's Vineyard or other local maritime attractions.    Welcome to the village! You have heard of "village life" but have you truly experienced it? Check in @ "The Crab House Experience" and check out what onset has to offer! With a culture based around the arts and spirituality onset is known as one of the most spiritual places in all of North America. With spiritual organizations still in operation today, onset is a mecca for "out of this world" fun and adventure. "The Crab House"  is a centrally located home base in between New Englands largest water park in water wizz (.08 miles) and cape cods ONLY cape cod canal cruise (.02 miles away) and the cape cod canal (1 mile away).

Explore Onsets shops, eateries, and excursions from our 2 bed room home built INSIDE the oceans sea bank. Built on piles like a dock the house can be IN 3' of water at high tide. which provides an incredible experience to our guests.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:   The upstairs has two bedrooms; a master w/ 1 queen bed and a guest bedroom w/ 3 twins (2 of which are bunk beds. The living room pulls out into a queen bed as well as the sun room converts into a "half bedroom" (curtains) with a queen size futon

Kitchen & Bathroom:  Being that the house dates to the early 1800s the bathroom & kitchen are small but functional. One stand up stall shower, washer & dryer, microwave, full cooking & eatery sets including cork screws and can openers, kurig,coffee grinder and ninja coffee machine, rice cookers, crock pots all available by request.
K cups,coffee,pop corn for the movies and s'mores ingredients for the fire pit, bug spray, sun tan lotion, and hand sanitizer are inclusive with every stay.

Living Space: The living space inside the crab house is highlighted by water views on nearly three sides as you are half situated between an eroded peninsula & the fact the house is built IN the ocean. The house faces east PERFECTLY on purpose to provide epic morning sun rises. Enjoy coffee on the rocking chairs in the solarium, or play around with the games set up through out the space by your provided "Cape Codder" with "#PlayHere-Exclussive Experience Specialists". The space is also equipped with a SONOS surround sound system from the kitchen to the living room & solarium. The system immerses the entire space in dynamic sound that elevates the tone in the room from awesome to epic. The house has 4 AC units so staying cool is no problem. Some windows have screens but being so close to the ocean provides very moist air that we don't want in the houses. So any windows without screens are intentional and please do not try to open them. Every sleeping room has a C02 detector @ pillow height and a smoke detector.

WIFI & Entertainment:  The house has very fast commercial WiFi as well as streaming services on the TV.

Getting in:  All doors on the property are key code entry and the code is changed after every stay. The out door grounds are also protected by 24/7 security cameras as an added level of security. The doors take 15 seconds to unlock, please give it a moment to open and make sure the door is firmly shut while the door unlocks. All of the exterior and accent lighting are on an automated system and controlled remote by your "Cape Codder" and "#StayHere" host. Please contact them with any special requests in regards to exterior lighting or accent lighting. 

Parking: You have 2 spots. You may be able to fit 3 but you MUST ONLY park in YOUR driveway any violators run the risk of being towed at the vehicle owners expense. Additional street parking passes can be rented @ $50 per pass through your "Cape Codder"

Check out: check out is 9AM SHARP. we do not do late check outs as we run at nearly 0% vacancy so we need the time for our "Production crew" to work their magic in the venue not only sanitizing the venue but re-prepping every touch that made your vacation so special. We ask that you wash all your dishes and put them where you found them and have all the used bed linens in a pile @ the bottom of the stairs. Trash can be brought out to the resorts trash barrels located in-front of the flamingo house. (Refer to map on listing) 

FYI RULES:  No events of any kind can commence out of your private area exceeding your guest count. Visitors are permitted as long as max occupancy is not exceeded. The Resorts quiet hours are 11PM. Noise complaints will be met with police asking you to leave so please be considerate as our tolerance is zero in regards to this rule. No smoking in ANY house or within 25' of a shared space. We ask that you smoke in the drive ways by the smoking receptacles or in the spile city green.
